As the number of COVID-19 cases is still on the rise, the need for vaccines and vaccinations has increased. With this new need comes new challenges especially when it comes to transportation. Vaccines need to be stored and transported at very low temperatures in order to maintain their effectiveness, as such refrigerated vehicles are needed to get them where they need to go. Foton Philippines is offering a reliable mobility solution to this problem with its Tornado Ref Van line of trucks.
These trucks are designed to meet the need of transporting vaccines quickly and safely to where they need to go. The Foton Tornado line of trucks also comes powered by a US-designed Cummins turbo-diesel engine that has more than enough grunt to haul heavy cargo. On top of this, these trucks also come with Thermo King technology that helps keep the refrigerated area cool even during the hottest of summers. An important feature to have especially when being used to transport vaccines. Depending on the requirements needed by a company, Foton has two Tornado Ref Van options to choose from

The first of which is the Foton Tornado M4.2C Ref Van that comes with a refrigeration area that can go as well as -20 degrees Celius. It also comes with a payload of 4.2 tons which utilizes a 14-foot long body. Under the hood, the truck sports a powerful 3.8-liter Cummins diesel engine that pushes out 154hp and 500 Nm of torque.

The second option is the Foton Tornado M2.6C that comes with a cargo area that can maintain a temperature of -18 degrees celsius. The truck utilizes a 12-foot long body and comes with a payload capacity of 2.6 tons. It is powered by a 2.8-liter Cummins engine that produces 129hp and 310 Nm of torque. Together these two trucks are ready to meet the demands of vaccine transport as they both feature great payload capacities and can easily maintain subzero temperatures for travel.
