Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), in partnership with Mutya Pilipinas, inc. (MPI), pledged a fleet of 14-seater Hyundai H350 luxury vans to transport the 40 Mutyas (muse or darling in Filipino) throughout the entire course of pageant activities of Mutya Pilipinas Grand Coronation Night happening on August 18, 2019, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Every day, Hyundai provides world-class quality vehicles to ease the lives of thousands of Filipinos. It is only fitting that we provide the same comfort and safety for our Mutyas who are not just beautiful but also driven by their chosen causes. Hyundai and Mutya Pilipinas are proud to showcase strong and empowered women in particular, and the beauty of the Philippines in general.
The goal of Mutya Pilipinas is to empower young Filipinas to be global ambassadors. Beauty Tourism is one of the main advocacies that promotes the core values of sustainable tourism, social responsibility, fashion, and beauty pageantry. Winners of this event are sent to international pageants like Miss Asia Pacific International, Miss Tourism International, and World Top model.
Mutya Pilipinas president and national director, Cory Quirino, has stated that she is grateful and excited to collaborate with Hyundai with regard to eco-tourism mobility. MPI is one with Hyundai in empowering women and championing local tourism. The directress is also a TV personality and wellness guru apart from her role in MPI.
Hyundai has also been pushing many initiatives with regard to corporate social responsibility. The Alagang Breastfriend Mobile Diagnostic Clinic utilizes a customized Hyundai H350 equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in order to carry out medical missions throughout the country.
On another note, the first commercially available electric vehicle in the Philippines is available, the Hyundai Kona Electric. The first mass-market hybrid from Hyundai in the Philippines currently retails at P1,500,000, the Ioniq Hybrid.
