In global scope, the Mazda MX-5 happens to be one of the most popular roadsters. It embodies the brand’s fun-to-drive character that is reinforced among its line of vehicles. The fourth-generation MX-5 continues to deliver that joy and fulfillment with every drive. As it builds a special bond between every respective owner. Now, purchasing this brand new roadster has been made even more exciting than before, as Mazda Philippines is giving buyers the flexibility of personalizing their own MX-5.
The ‘Build Your Personal MX-5’ program starts this month of November, for the 2021 model year MX-5. Customers who will pre-order a unit can apply a total of 78 combinations. Varying in terms of their personal preference, such as transmission, exterior color, interior trim, and the roof type which could either be soft top or retractable fastback customers can have their way with the roadster in many different configurations.
Enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that 2021 Mazda MX-5 soft-top variants now come with a premium-grade for manual buyers. With such features, including a 9-Speaker Bose sound system, Bilstein Dampers and front strut bars, as well as leather seats which could either be Red Nappa or Premium Black Leather. Apart from the new Deep Crystal Blue Mica color option, the 2021 MX-5 also gets a new Dark Cherry soft top color, on top of the current classic black color.
In terms of powertrain, the 2021 MX-5 is run by a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine that produces 181 hp and 205 Nm of torque. Like all Mazda vehicles sold in the country, the Mazda MX-5 comes with a 5-Year Free Service Plan, covering all expenses of periodic maintenance at either six-month or 10,000 km intervals, for up to five years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
The customized pre-order will be initiated by a reservation fee in any of the 19 Mazda dealerships nationwide. This should give owners a more fun and memorable experience in buying their very own MX-5.
