Toyota first landed in the Philippines courtesy of Delta Motors Corporation. The partnership gave us the Corolla, Crown, and Tamaraw. It wasn't until August 1988 when Toyota Motors Corporation established itself in the Philippines and gave jobs that resulted in quality and reliable cars. Fast forward today and the Japanese brand is now on its 30th anniversary and still the number 1 car manufacturer in the country. You can read more about their history here.
